Just like it sounds, a Small Group is a small collective of individuals that is seeking to grow closer to God and his community through intentional weekly meetings.
Most meetings will be approximately one hour in length, and will typically centered around an in-depth study and discussion of a particular passage from Scripture. Occasionally, a Small Group will participate in fellowship activities, which may range from sharing a meal to serving the community together.
Every Small Group is led by a Small Group Leader, who have recently studied the selected passage and will serve as a guide in the group discussion. The power of the Small Group, however, lies not in the preparation made by the leader, but in the ability of each member to open up and explore God’s word together.
Throughout the course of a semester, Small Groups become small families of believers as they share life and pursue God together. This is our central focus, the focal point of our fellowship.
